WIDTH=250 HEIGHT=250>

-Create a simple box as background.
- Create a button
- Now to create the text scroll. Make a new movie clip.
Type your text but make sure it fits the width of your
background. Now motion tween your text scrolling upwards.
The longer your motion tween is the more detailed your
scroll will be and the less jumpy as well. After you
are done tweening the text create a new layer. Create
blank keyframes at EVERY frame through your whole tween
on this layer and apply a stop action to every frame.

-
Create a new button. This will the button that the users
will actually see and scroll with. Make it a small circle
and press F8 to turn it into graphic -it has to be smaller
than the hit state on your other button.
- Let's make the scroll bar now. Create a new movie
clip and begin the use of your motion guide. As you
should already know how to do this, just draw the path
you want your button to follow and motion tween your
buttons to the SAME AMOUNT OF FRAMES that your movie
clip with the scrolling text uses. This movie clip will
also need a layer with the blank keyframes and "Stop"
actions applied to EVERY layer.

- Add a new layer and set the 'invisible' button and
give below Action frame by frame

On (Roll Over)
Begin Tell Target ("/button")
Go to and Stop (1)
End Tell Target
Begin Tell Target ("/scroll")
Go to and Stop (1)
End Tell Target End On

in
next button

On (Roll Over)
Begin Tell Target ("/button")
Go to and Stop (2)
End Tell Target
Begin Tell Target ("/scroll")
Go to and Stop (2)
End Tell Target End On

and
going on...... we are using 30 button for 30 frams

-
Now in the layer where you have your text scroll,
just add masking to it. Copy the background and paste
it on the mask layer and scale it using the transform
tool. Lock all the layers and see how you got the
final result.
