video sound is mixed with background music

I have web template and I customized with my own music. But there is problem. There is turn ON/OFF buttom for music, but when I turn off music, video sound is mute even though I turn on video sound on video player.
I want to make video sound alive even though people turn off on music sound

I am burning an anime series to DVD and I want to increase the overall audio volume without decreasing the quality. I also want to make sure that the background sounds and music don't overpower the characters' speeches.

I've read a little about normalization, compression dynamics and fading, but I don't know much.

Hi Mayuna, please share the fla or the snippet of the close button on the top right where you select the bg music. So that we can actually guide what went wrong, mere sharing the problem or link wont help us, we would be left just guessing as you !

Please guys all who post the queries please either share the fla or at least the snippet of the code, so that we could start thinking rather guessing. Do also specify the version of actionscript.
