need help with an attachMovie

I am still using flash mx 2004 actionscript 2.0 and I am trying to make some games here is the game

My question is why is one of my attach movie in the upper left hand corner of the swf. I am using two attach movies in this script I tried positioning it but I do not know what I am doing can some one help me?

I think its the attach registration point of the movie which is attached to the _root so the registration point is the top left corner of the stage. I need to know how to position the _y and the _x.
