On importing an external swf sized 640x419 into an empty mc of a movie sized 800x600 the container movie srinks down to 640x419 but places and plays the movie in it as intended bar the shrinking size - the container movie I will call MC, the imported swf I will call swf. So what happens is the movie shrinks down to the size of the import and the import srinks to fit into the container inside MC - but the white stage remains at fullscreen behind the now centred MC. Why?
In detail -
My movie is sizes 800x600. I have two screens - I will call these page one and page two.
On page one I have an fscommand("fullscreen","true") placed in the first frame of page one.
On page one I have a series of buttons. Each button has this code - on(press)gotoandplay ("screen",1,2,3.....). Each button links to an individual frame on page 2.
On page two I have four layers of 100 keyframes each. Layer four comprises stop() commands.
I have an empty mc called screen on stage with the dimensions 640x419. I call this s1. I have a button on the bottom of page 2. It has this code attached - on(press) gotoandplay ("jack1.swf",1) and on(press) gotoandplay("jack2.swf",2) and so on for 100 frames. I publish. Then I open the swf and it plays fullscreen - so far so good. I click on my first page button and it takes me to my screen page and the keyframe I nominated. I click the play button at the bottom of page two that is linked to this keyframe and it plays the correct swf - but the content resizes to 640x419 and leaves a white fullscreen stage behind the content. Please help - I have tried everything. Computer rage may follow
