Control a movie with multiple movies inside

Greetings,

I have a flash movie, which I want to control with buttons.
Inside the allMovie are several smaller movies.

I can not get the script to stop the imbedded movies.
any ideas??

Hi,

Make sure you are referencing the full path to the loaded movies. It depends on how you load them whether you need to target a level or a movieclip. Ex....

movie loaded into a movieclip would be referenced like....

_root.movieclip.movie.stop();

If your loading into a level.....

_level0.movie.stop();
