video issue

I am trying to use video but for some reason unknown to me it is not working. The video comes up but the sound is not there. Is there a step I missed when I imported it? Is there a script I need to add to it? I placed the embeded movie into a movie clip and then laid it out in the main stage.

Also, when I go to export to .swf or publish an .exe, the process chokes halfway through and an error message appears saying "Not enough memory to complete." Now, I have 2+GB of RAM and 2 GHz processor, so not sure why it is doing this. The videos total less than 50MB together. Any ideas how to resolve these issues? Thanks for your help in advance.

Some audio files contained in video clips cannot be imported into flash. Some of it depends on which version fo Quicktime and Direct X that your running, but it also depends how the sound is encoded into the video.In some cases, Flash may be able to import the video but not the audio in a file. For example, audio is not supported in MPG/MPEG files imported with QuickTime 4. In such cases, Flash displays a warning indicating that the audio portion of the file cannot be imported. You can still import the video without sound.

Thanks. I talked to some other people who said they had the same issue, so I kept the video in, and then too the original video file and ripped the sound track from that, saved it as an MP3, and then brought it in. Not glamorous but it works. Be nice to just import video as is.
