call movieclip before to display image

hi,
i am doing photgallery. when i click different buttons, related imges will display. but i have to add effect before image display. so i have done that effect as a movie clip("effect"). i have to call a movie clip before the image display. could you help me.

use attachMovie to get you movie clip with the image in it out of the library but don't call it untill after the effect has completed...something like oncomplete goto and play (3); put the attachmovie code on frame3.....or if you can time it accurately use setInterval to call the attachMovie code....there is also an oncomplete method which can be coded to call the attatchMovie code after the effect has played if it is a movie of its own
.........but i've never used it .......i'm sure it won't be a problem to goggle it.
