Thread: Changing size of scrollbars in ui comp.

  1. #1

Default Changing size of scrollbars in ui comp.

I'd like to make the scrollbars in either the ScrollBar or ScrollPane Flash UI components smaller. Smaller arrow buttons, narrower scrollbar. I tried going into the component and editing the shape itself, but when I came back out to the Scene, it looked the same as it did before. I need these to be smaller or it will look ridiculous on my page. Also, for a field containing text and images, which of these scroll components is better to use? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi,

I generally make my own scroll bars, but with compents in FlashMX, you can edit the component and change the xscale and size of the component in the actions layer. You can also select each movieclip in the library that is attached to the component and modify it. These modifications show up in FlashMX when I test it.
