from colour to grayscale

Hi,
I am creating a catalog, consisting in dinamic images. the point is I am trying to make it so the images are in greyscale till mouseover, when the images turn to normal color.

Is there any way (tint, or whatever) to put a color image into grayscale, so I don't have to import each image twice, one in black and white and another time in color)

hi, you can conver the image to a symbol, which will enable you to de-saturate the image under the alpha channel dropdown. just selct the 'advanced' state and change the settings.
