    Question Opening PDF from Flash

    Hello,

    I am new here, but really need your help guys.
    I am working on a project, timeline, where I have tons of events.
    I need to be able to open PDF files by clicking on some of the events.
    I browsed web but cant find the exact answer I need.
    simple getURl...does not seem to work. And I am not sure how to do fscommand.
    Can anyone please explain to me how it works?:/

    Hi,

    The getURL method should suffice for opening a .pdf file as long as the user has the program installed on their machine. If the user does not have Adobe Acrobat installed, neither the getURL or the fscommand will work. The fscommand is generally used for projector files.
