    Default Window size when viewing over the net

    Basically i want to know if i can control the window size that my flash file is showing on the internet.

    Ill show you waht i mean, if you look at www.evoke.nildram.co.uk/Menu.swf , thats the flash file.

    at www.evoke.nildram.co.uk/index.html i have simply inserted the movie into a html file.

    At the moment, people can resize the flash file veriosn, and see things outside of the stage area, ie movieclips waiting to come on, and i was wondering if there was some script i could add in that would set the browser window to a certain size and make it stay that way so not only can people not see anything outside the stage, but then the window appears as a floating window with just the file, and no useless black space everywhere.

    I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help,

    Hi,

    To prevent scaling when a browser window is resized you can use the fscommand scale property.......

    fscommand("allowscale", false);

    Something else you might consider is simply puting a mask over the viewable area and only allowing the contents beneath the mask to be seen.
