Loading a swf file into a new flash document

Hello everybody,

I have created a swf file and now I'm creating a new one but using my first file, I tried importing to stage and also to library but when I run the "parent" swf the child doesn't play. Am I doing the correct thing? What am I doing wrong?

Well, unless if you are using something like MING, and I SERIOUSLY doubt that considering you are posting this in the newb sectoin... you are not creating an SWF with your other SWF.
Be more specific in what you are doing....say what actions you use to do what you described. Give us some of your code and you might be able to get some help.
