Two questions to the experts from a novice.
1. How do you make a Flash 6 swf file compatible for browers other than Explorer and Netscape. I have a very important swf file on my website. Its a photo essay for a documentary project. Unfortunately, when I email the link to it to people who are not using either of these browsers, they are unable to open it. I saved the file as a Flash 6 version in the Publish Settings tab in Flash MX. I think the problem is due to their browsers not being compatible with Flash 6. Is there a pain free way to solve this? One Example: As a test, I sent the link to a friend who uses Safari, and he was unable to open it, but when he changed to Explorer, there was no problem.
2. I created my flash movie to the dimensions of 600x525 yet in most cases, the dimensions of the swf, when launched, comes out much different. What can I do to control or make sure that when someone launches this swf file, it will always open up to 600x525?
Any tips would be appreciated.
