Navigation problems....

Hi,
So I made myself a very fancy little flash movie where my menu buttons slowly appear on screen. My problem is that I cant figure out how to link them to anything. All the online tutorials tell me to type script into the Actions menu for "frame 1," but my buttons don't fully appear until frame 20 or something. And if I add extra keyframes on the end, all my buttons etc disappear.
What I am aiming for is a background and menu that stay the same, whatever page of the website you are on, and only the main text changes.
I hope this makes sense. I can always email the .fla file to anyone who thinks they might be able to help, but wants a closer look first...

Hi,

As long as your buttons have instance names, you can access them with actionscript. Actionscript is usually placed on a layer above all other content, but it can be put on each button itself. To access the buttons with AS they just need an instance name. On the frame where they first appear in the movie....
