Buttons disappear under quicktime movie

Hi, please can someone help...

I have imported a quicktime movie onto my stage (without embedding) and have placed invisible buttons on top to start stop goto etc... However, once published as a quicktime movie the buttons disappear and dont work.

The buttons need to be on top of the movie as they relate to items in the movie.

I can't change the layering in the quicktime publish settings as I have other graphics around the outside of the movie.

Is this a known limitation and is there a way to solve this?

Hi,

The flash player is needed for any interactivity like button events. Exporting an .avi file from flash does not include the flash player. Only a video file is published. Only an .swf file or a compiled .exe file can have interactive content.
