Synch Issues

I have a problem with the playback on my flash animations. I create cartoons at 12fps in Flash MX 2004 and have noticed that the swf files always playback at a slightly slower speed. This is especially obvious when they have audio that must be synched with the video. I use a preloader, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. What should I change/do differently next time?

Hi! it usually works to use mp3 file for using in flash movies, since it works out to a very low file size, hence enabling it to play at its original pace. But sorry if this answer wasn't really what you were looking for.

I tried using an mp3 file, but the animation is still out of synch. I also get this problem on animations without sound (ie the animation runs longer and slower than it should.)
