I don't really understand how the flash Library works. I create a symbol and add several parts into it, like Text, Rectangle and some lines, making them each into symbols. Then I drag several of them on the scene and open one up to make a custom change to the text line eg... Every instance of that symbol, which I dragged on the screen becomes exactly the same... same text or any other manipulation I make to the internal symbols. But if I manipulate the parent symbol, then the changes can be individualized.
So, how does one create independent symbols, so each can be customized in its own way, yet having the same composition of sub-symbols?
