dropTarget : DisplayObject[read-only] Specifies the display object over which the sprite is being dragged, or on which the sprite was dropped.

Since it is a read only value, you will not be able to change it.

    Hi Vlykarye ,

Thank you for your reply. If I can't clear it, is its possible I could overwrite it with some default or
    constant value by myself.

There's probably no possible way to overwrite it without calling the start drag function again on an object.
Can I ask why you would need to clear it?

Actually Iam filling the object on each mouse move and droptarget value is associated with the mouse drop value. So some times when I don't need to fill the object but due to droptarget it fills the object on mouse move.

Therefore I was figuring if I could clear the value of droptarget after dragging the object.

Droptarget is associated with where the object is during a drag drop command. If you could move the object offscreen in a split second while it's under a drag drop command, I'm sure you can change the droptarget.

Yes, I might agree with it.
Gotta figure some another approach for it.

    Thanks you,

    Cheers and Regards.
