Button problem

I just started using flash so i guess my doubt is very simple to solve..
I made a button and now i dont know what to put so when i click it, it goes to another frame on another layer, i already tried with the actionscript and goto and stop... Well it would be great if u could help me..

Hi,

Frame labels are a good habit to get into. Put a frame label on the frame you want to direct the playhead to and target that label.....
