I am a beginner with Flash, though a moderately efficient Lingo programmer and Director user. I have a movie that is a montage of stills - each frame a different still image. I want to be able to play this as an flv movie in Flash, and for the viewer to stop the movie at any time, and thereby display the caption text for that particular frame. I have a txt file of all the graphics descriptive filenames, so I need to write code that:
1. gets the current frame number when the movie is stopped by the user.
2. displays the relevant title as a caption
3 otherwise lets the flv play with normal skin for play/pause/rewind etc

what approach should I take in Flash (CS5/actionscript 3.0)?
