help with template

Hi,

I just purchased a flash template from http://www.besttemplate.net and I'm having trouble editing it. There is a spot on the template to allow visitors to sign up for an email newsletter, but it doesn't actually work, and I'd like to get that working. There's also a music player that has a lot of actionscript already written for it, but it still doesn't actually work. Can anyone help me get these two things working? There's also a small problem with a main bg image but that shouldn't be too hard... you can see what I have so far (and my screw-ups) here: http://www.tresend.com/dmoney/

Hey,

Ok, lets tackle the email newsletter problem first....

looking at your site at the moment it doesnt look like theres a input textbox just below "Enter your email below", make sure it has the correct instance and or variable name.

Next the music player....

I'm not sure what your doing wrong but it may be that you haven't linked the songs to the actionscript (if that is what it does). You can do this by going to your library, right click on the song, go to linkage, tick the export for action script box....

These are just guesses really ,but worth a try .Ive got nothing to test them on

Blake, thank you for your suggestions. I'd like to post the code but since it was a pay template, that's gotta be against some kinda rule, so I dont know what to do. If anyone has any extra time and is willing to give me a hand i guess I could pm or email the code to them or something, just posting it publically doesnt seem like such a good idea...
