XML Connector working with buttons

Hi ,

I hope i will be clear enough .. i'm a little lost ( let say *** lost )

I'm working on a little project and i'm stuck at the "idea" point ..
Can't get my idea to work , if you know what I mean.

This is where I am now , the ComboBox makes the Text Area to correspond to the selectedIndex of my XML file. And you can see that i've made the 3 upper mapped buttons.

I would like my buttons to controls my content of all Text Area ...
Or if it's easier , buttons to control ComboBox selectedIndex.

So ... is it possible ?
