guys please help me


ok i just got a flash template from a website, i am supposed to be able to edit the flash i have a FLA file and a SWF file. now i am very good at swish so i know what swf files are but this flash stuff i am useless at. Everytime i try to load a FLA file in macromedia dreamweaver 2004 or anything all i have is a code??? all i wanna do is change 4 links with my own names and link them to different locations and change the titel thats it... can anyone help me all this is so annoying the dam flash site cost me near to 80-00 please help

Probably help if you give us a link to the template. maybe then we can help! You can only open a fla file in Macromedia Flash. Download a trial at www.macromedia.com

thanks for your reply however i already downloaded that program i just need to know how to edit the fla file so i can see the text to edit at the min i have just the coding which i cant do nothing with thanks taff

as you will agree this is a great template but i must edit the four links with my own and the title

I can't download the template because it costs money, but I will try and guide you through.

Open the fla, You should see it in the main window. Click on one of the buttons until the text box becomes visible & selectable. You should now be able to change it.
