On Wednesday, 2009 July 22, A Total Solar Eclipse (http://www.imediacreator.com/tutorial/solar-eclipse.html) will take place and is called as the longest total solar eclipse in the world within 141 years period from 1991 July 11 to 2132 June 13. A narrow corridor will traverses half of Earth for 3000 kilo-meter from East to West. The narrowest width from South to North is 226 kilo-meter while widest part is 251 kilo-meter.
The path of the Moon’s penumbral shadow begins in India and crosses through Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar and China. After leaving mainland Asia, the path crosses Japan’s Ryukyu Islands and curves southeast through the Pacific Ocean where the maximum duration of totality reaches 6min 39s. It is said that 200 meters east from Southeast of Ryukyu would be a perfect place to watch the eclipse and Anji from Zhejiang Province, China would be with totality time closest to maximum around the world.
The total solar eclipse 2009 would be the most perfect total solar eclipse in twenty-first century according to some people. More details for Solar Eclipse 2009 (http://www.imediacreator.com/tutorial/solar-eclipse.html)
