I am trying to finish building my flash site and everytime i create my SWF it makes all of my images extremely blurry and hard to see. I have several different sizes of the same image all over the page and i have icons that I used in my navigation that i had to scale in order to animate my nav so importing them in all those different sizes is just not an option. I have tried importing them as jpgs, gifs and png's and i can't get them to look good. I even broke them apart and made symbols out of them and i still can't get them to look good. My text is even a little blurry. I work on a 1280x1024 screen setting and they look clear at that resolution, but when i test it at 1024x768 it looks bad. PLEASE HELP!!!

have you checked the resolution of the original image?
Some times I get files from clients at odd reolutions and it makes the end product blurry.

Hi,

Something else to check is to select the image in the library and select properties. Make sure the compression is set correctly for gif or jpeg's and for jpeg's, make sure the compression setting is set to "use imported jpeg data". Checking that and like the resolution settings of the images should help find a solution.
