New to Flash

Hey, i'm new to Flash and I really don't know much about it. I'd really if anyone could help me.

I am not sure of what you mean by which 'program'. If you mean which version of Flash, the latest version, Flash MX 2004 has all the new bells and whistles and upgraded features, like more components and more database connectivity ability. However, previous versions such as Flash 5 and Flash MX, have two modes of codeing. Expert, which is like coding on notepad with some code hints, or Normal, which sets up basic code bits for you, such as basic button code. If you are new to programming altogether, I would suggest an earlier version that has 'pointers' on how to format code and use it. If you have some background in programming, MX 2004 is probably what you want. If you wait til after Christmas, I think the newest release of Flash is expected to be released, not sure on when, you can check the Macromedia site for more info on that.
