I just created an interactive quiz in Flash, but for some reason, the jpg images get tweaked when they appear on screen (they jiggle a bit, some of the lines slightly distort). I have saved all of the images at high quality jpg, 300 dpi rgb. Is there something I am not doing right in Flash?

Thanks!

Hi,

Are you using actionscript to manipulate the position of the jpg's? Posting a demo link or the code your using might also give a better idea of what the problem is.

I put the demo up at http://www.faries-studios.com/testflash.swf. For some reason the graphic in the lower left (purple image) has distorted lines, but the original image and in Flash shows up with a clean smooth line (not at all jagged like in the .swf file). The original is a jpg, 300 dpi, RGB.

It's diffucult to say because your link results in a 404 error page, so. But I thnik you can play around with image properties in library to get a satisfying result that suits you. Btw, is it necessary to put a 300 dpi image on the web? I mean it isn't for printed publication. Also the file will be bigger and longer to load.

http://www.faries-studios.com/testflash.swf The link for some reason included the period. I changed the properties around in the Library section but it still seems a bit jaggy. This is for a CD ROM, so the images do not have to worry about file size issues or download times for web. Thanks.
