hello dears,

yes, the problem is in exporting the file in any other files , i cant even test the film!
it could maybe be, that the file is just to big, with 25 frames per sec. and 2 min. an some more sec. in total. ^^"

i work with cs3 on a mac, and it cant depend on the ram, we test to esport it on my dads computer, but the programm break down at the same last quater as on my computer. - but dad have 2 GB ram, whats wrong?

do i have to split the movie, export it ant glue it together in a movie-cut-programm again? is there any other way?

i´m looking forward to you tipps.

with best regards

hey,

difficult to answer... cause the maximum of frames is 32k for flash. So that should not be the problem.
What is inside of the fla? any big images that are scaled? What is the content of the file? Any error-messages?

A.

If you used high-res large images scaled down, it could totally be a problem. Check the original image files that you imported into the library. They need only to be 72 dpi (if you are not scaling them up in Flash), RGB Jpegs or Gifs. If they are large when imported (bigger in pixels than your stage size), scale them down in Photoshop first, then re-import them (click the "replace existing" tab). You may have to resize them again in Flash.

How big is the Flash File (.fla) itself?

heya! thanks for answer!

the .fla is 90,8 MB big (the complete piece, not with complete sounds) and there is no importet image at all, just complete verctors, al drwn in this flash, nothing importet.

i´ve finished the animation yesterday more or less, i find out, when i "cut" it in two pieces, a firt bart.fla and a second part.fla. an then i can export it! but i need one movie, not a splitted. ^^"
i try to export it as .mov and put it toghether in imovie, but the quality is more the worse and i cant work with imovie o.O

now i try to get a trial version of liquid, a cut program we use in school.

but the best oppotunity would be, when i just would be aible to save it in flash as usual.

(edit:
oh, and no error messages at all. ^^" it just break down)

Hi,

That is an extremely large file. Are you planning on delivering this over the internet? Consider if someone tried to connect to that file that doesn't have a cable or dsl connection. It would take a very long time for a file of that size to load. One of the features of Flash is the ability to create very small file sizes that are ideal for "streaming" over the internet. With a 90mb file you are kind of defeating that focus. I suggest breaking the video into several parts and loading them as you need them instead of trying to load the entire file all at once.

I suspect that the problem your encountering is that Flash is eating up your RAM when trying to produce a file that large. You can allocate more memory to Flash, but I have forgotten how. You would need to Google search for that.... something like.... Adobe Flash memory allocation.

hope it helps

Does this animation consist of entirely motion tweens on the main timeline, i.e. no movie clips? How big is your stage?

I've almost completed an entire website, and the .fla file is only 26.2 Mb.

hey folks,

to be honest, a fla-file that is bigger than 1MB is crap!!!

take a look at this link (http://www.medieninformatik.de/fritz-hoeger/).

fla files: main 306 KB / preloader 4 KB
swf files: main 137 KB / preloader 4 KB

the whole project is smaller than 5 MB, sure, no sounds, etc.
but please! please! please! make yourself familiar with the MovieClipLoader-Class.

A.

The A,

Is the MovieClipLoader-Class used instead of actually placing movie clips on the maintimeline? Just curious.

no, i just want to burn it on DVD and give it to my teacher, nothing over internet.
if you wanna see it, here are the both splittet parts:
one: http://ankin.deviantart.com/art/school-work-crap-WIP-74597734
two: http://ankin.deviantart.com/art/school-crap-WIP-part-2-76002906

i´m sorry, i try to answer proper, but my nerves travel to kairo without me today. i have to give it tomorrow to my teacher.

okay, joe:
i dont really know what you mean exactly by stage, but i can say that there are some more movieclips on the main timeline. is it what you want to know? ^^"

NTD:
well, not over internet as i tell before, and i try to,.. give flash more space to work, but it still break down.

dear A:
okay, look , please, at this animation and tell me how i schould build this in under 5 MB? oh, and you are german or austrian? fein, deine seite mag ja nett aussehen, aber hier geht es nicht um animationen einer webseite, sondern einem richtigen, wenn auch kaputt zusammengesetzten kleinen animationsfilm, deal with it. *smile*

i´m sorry, it seems as if i am a little bit over-worked, i´m sorry if someone feels -i even cant remember the english word- o.O whatever.

have a nice day.
with best regards
emu

edit: sorry, A, i didn´t notice the information field with "location: germany"
