Problem with my preloader

Ive made a piece of a website, me and a a buddy of mine are working on, in flash. It's actually just some flash buttons, and lightning that flashes a cpl times in a loop.

Well because it was pretty big we wanted to make a preloader, i made a simple one and it worked...so far so good...

So the preloader is in scene 1 and the piece is in scene 2, so when the preloader is finished it goes to the next scene. But when that piece is loaded it isnt playing the lightning flashes, what is because i used nextScene, so how could i fix this?

Hi,

Are the lightning flashes a movieclip or graphic symbol? Movieclip timelines will play independently of the main timeline. As long as the lightning is a movieclip with no stop actions on it's timeline, it will play when encountered by the playhead.

Well the piece played after the preloader is made up out of 3 layers, first one is the layer of the lightning and yes they are graphic symbols, where i just played with the alpha, second layer are the flashed buttons and third and final layer is the background.
So should i make the lightning a movie clip symbol? or export it as a movie??

EDIT:I think i found it, i just copied the frames and dumped them in a movie clip symbol, thx man :wink:
