Text Animation....

When creating an color tween on a text, which has been converted to a movie clip symbol, when I try and animate it within the symbol itself (as opposed to the instance), the tween never seems to work. However, if I try and animate the color within the instance (as opposed to the symbol) it seems to work fine. Why is this, and is there a way to ocrrect it? There are some movies that I want to have the text stop, but other animations continue.

Movieclips that contain dynamic textfields that have any property manipulated need to have the font outline embedded for the text to appear in the textfield. Not sure if this is your issue or not.
